Delhi Police AWO/TPO Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates aspiring to apply for the Delhi Police Head Constable posts must satisfy the mandatory eligibility criteria specified by the recruitment board.
Education Qualification
Applicants applying for the Delhi Police Head Constable examination must have passed the 10+2 (Class 12th) examination from a recognized board with Science and Mathematics as core subjects.
OR hold a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the trade of Mechanic-cum-Operator Electronic Communication System.
Age Limit (as on 01/07/2025)
- Candidates should be of a minimum of 18 years of age and a maximum of 27 years of age.

Delhi Police Head Constable AWO/TPO Salary
The starting in-hand salary ranges between Rs. 34,000 and Rs. 38,000 per month. The salary structure follows the 7th Pay Commission guidelines. As per previous notifications, the basic pay scale is Rs. 25,500 - Rs. 81,100 (Pay Level 4). House Rent Allowance (HRA) is calculated at 24% (approx. Rs. 6,120), Dearness Allowance (DA) is a percentage of the gross salary, and Travel Allowance stands at Rs. 3,600.
