Delhi Police Head Constable 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates intending to apply for Delhi Police Head Constable vacancies must ensure they meet the specific eligibility criteria established by the recruitment board.

Education Qualification (as on 20/10/2025)

Applicants for the Delhi Police Head Constable exam must have successfully completed their 10+2 (Higher Secondary) education from a recognized board at the time of application.

Alternatively, candidates may hold a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in Mechanic-cum-Operator (Electronic Communication System).

Delhi Police Head Constable Ministrial 2026 Salary

The starting salary ranges from approximately Rs. 34,000 to Rs. 38,000. Under the 7th Pay Commission, the basic pay for a Delhi Police Head Constable is Rs. 25,500 – Rs. 81,100 (Pay Level 4). The gross salary includes a 24% HRA (Rs. 6,120), a 12% Dearness Allowance, and a Travel Allowance of Rs. 3,600.
