What is the Eligibility for DSSSB TGT Posts?

To be eligible for the DSSSB Trained Graduate Teacher vacancy 2026, candidates must hold a relevant Graduation degree and be no older than 30 years as of the specified cut-off date.

Age Limit (as on 15/07/2026)

3. Click on New Register and enter your details and valid Mobile Number, and an email address.
4. A provisional registration ID and password will be sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number and email address.
5. Log in with the registration ID and password and complete the application form by submitting relevant information.
6. Upload a passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed format as mentioned in the instruction bar.
7. Click on the Preview & Submit button, and you are redirected to the Preview Application page.
8. Click on the Proceed to Payment button to complete your payment (if applicable).
9. Save and download the online application form for future reference.

DSSSB TGT Selection Process 2026

Eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on a merit-based selection process consisting of a Computer Based Test (CBT) and a subsequent Document Verification (DV) round.

• Computer-Based Test (CBT): This is a one-tier examination that assesses candidates’ knowledge in general subjects and their specific teaching subject.
• Document Verification: Candidates who qualify for the CBT will be called for document verification, where they must present original certificates and mark sheets for verification.

DSSSB TGT Exam Pattern 2026

The CBT is a single-tier examination designed to evaluate candidates on both general aptitude and subject-specific expertise relevant to the teaching post.

• Section A: General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Hindi Language, and English Language (100 questions, 100 marks).
• Section B: Subject-specific knowledge, including Teaching Methodology (100 questions, 100 marks).
• Duration: 2 hours
• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer
• Total Marks: 200

DSSSB TGT Salary Structure 2026

Candidates appointed as Trained Graduate Teachers (Post Code 41/26) will be classified as Group 'B' Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial employees, entitled to a salary under Pay Level 7, along with standard government allowances and benefits.
