The Computer-Based Examination (CBE) consists of an objective-type paper with 100 questions (80 marks). The total duration for the test is 90 minutes.

There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

The standard of the questions is set at the 10+2 level, in accordance with the Board of School Education, Haryana.

Haryana Police Physical Screening Test (PST)

Candidates who qualify for the Knowledge Test will be called for the PST. A total of seven times (07) the number of vacancies in each category will be shortlisted for this stage.

The Physical Screening Test (PST) is qualifying in nature and designed to assess physical fitness and endurance. Standards are strictly enforced for all candidates.

Haryana Police Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

Candidates who successfully pass the PST are required to undergo the Physical Measurement Test (PMT).

Height for Male Candidates

  1. General Category – 170 cm
  2. Reserved Category – 168 cm

Chest Standards (Male): Un-expanded: 83 cm; Expanded: 87 cm (minimum expansion of 4 cm). For reserved categories, the requirements are 81 cm (un-expanded) to 85 cm (expanded) with a 4 cm expansion.

Height for Female Candidates

  2. Reserved Category – 156 cm

Haryana Police Recruitment 2021 - Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Haryana Police Constable 2021 recruitment, candidates must meet the following four criteria:

1) Nationality/ Citizenship

Candidates must be Indian citizens.

2) Education Qualification (As on 01-12-2020)

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) from a recognized Board/Institution.

Must have passed Matriculation (10th) with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects.

3) Age limit (01-12-2020)

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 25 years of age (as of 1st December 2020). Candidates born before 1st December 1995 or after 1st December 2020 are ineligible.

Upper age relaxation of 5 years is provided for candidates belonging to SC, BC, and EWS categories as per government norms.

Admit cards are typically released 15 days prior to the examination date.
