HSSC CET Answer Key 2025: Marking Scheme

The HSSC CET exam follows a pre-defined marking scheme. Candidates should be aware that marks will be deducted for incorrect responses, and some criteria may apply to unattempted questions.

How to Calculate Marks Using Haryana CET Answer Key?

The examination consists of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with each correctly answered question worth 1 mark.

Example Calculation: If you attempted 80 questions and left 20 unattempted, and among your 80 attempts, 60 were correct and 20 were incorrect, your score is calculated as follows: 

• Marks for correct answers: 60 correct answers × 1 mark = 60 marks
• Marks for incorrect answers: 20 incorrect answers × 0 marks = 0 marks
• Marks for unattempted questions: 20 unattempted questions × -1 marks = -20 marks
• Total = Marks for correct answers + Marks for incorrect answers + Marks for unattempted questions

Total Score = 60 (Correct) + 0 (Unattempted) – 20 (Incorrect) = 40 Marks
