HTET Exam Date 2026 Rescheduled: New July Schedule & Updates

The Board of School Education, Haryana, administers the Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test (HTET) to certify candidates for positions as Primary Teachers (PRT), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), and Postgraduate Teachers (PGT) across state-affiliated schools. As announced by Board Chairman Mr. Shankar Lal Dhupad, the HTET 2026 exam—originally slated for June 13th and 14th—has been rescheduled. The written examination will now take place on July 4th and 5th, 2026, held in two shifts daily.

Candidates who successfully qualify for the Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test are awarded an HTET certificate, which now holds lifetime validity. This certification is a prerequisite for recruitment as Level 1, 2, or 3 teachers within the Haryana government school system.

HTET Education Qualification 

To qualify for the HTET PGT exam, candidates need a B.Ed or equivalent degree with a minimum of 50% marks. For TGT roles, a B.Ed and graduation in the relevant subject are required. PRT candidates must have completed their Senior Secondary education with at least 50% marks or be in the final year of a two-year D.El.Ed program. HTET Age Limit

Candidates aged between 18 and 38 years are eligible to appear for the HTET 2026 exam. Adherence to all stated eligibility criteria is mandatory; any submission of false or misleading information during the registration process may result in the immediate cancellation of candidature at any stage of the selection process.

• It will redirect you to a new page. Click on “Click Here for New Registration” or “Already Registered” under Apply Online for HTET 2025.
• Read all the instructions for steps to apply & upload documents, tick the confirmation box, and click on “Proceed for Registration”.
• Click on the New Registration/Login appearing in the Quick Links section.
• After registration, candidates need to fill in their personal details, including address, domicile information, category, and bank account details.
• Candidates must first register on the official portal by providing basic details such as their name, father’s name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID.
• Upon successful registration, an Application ID will be generated, which should be carefully noted and preserved for future reference.
• Next, they must select the applicable level for which they are applying and enter their academic and professional qualification details as required.
• The HTET 2024 Application Form appears on the screen, fill in the details accurately and check the details before submission.
• Pay the application fee according to your category.
• Download the receipt of the application form for the further recruitment process.

HTET 2026 Exam Pattern

The Board of School Education, Haryana, has made the HTET 2026 admit cards available for download on their official website. Candidates can access their hall tickets until the day of the examination. Every eligible candidate who submitted a valid application form will be issued an official admit card for the 2026 session.
