The HTET 2026 qualifying criteria consist of specific passing marks defined for General, OBC, SC, and ST categories. Candidates must achieve these minimum score requirements to successfully qualify for the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test.

The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) is the official body responsible for conducting the HTET examination. This state-level assessment determines the eligibility of candidates for PRT, TGT, and PGT teaching roles across Haryana. It is important to note that the HTET follows a fixed qualifying threshold rather than a variable cut-off, meaning candidates must reach a set minimum score to pass.

HTET Cut Off 2026

While the HTET passing standard remains consistent across all three levels, the required percentage varies by category. According to the Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH), General category candidates are required to secure at least 60% marks, whereas reserved category candidates—including SC, ST, and OBC—must attain a minimum of 55% to clear the examination.
