Agniveer Vayu Recruitment 2025 Eligibility
Candidates are required to strictly meet all eligibility criteria defined by the Indian Air Force for enrollment as Agniveers. The specific requirements for the 2025 recruitment cycle are detailed below.
Agniveer Airforce Agniveer Marital Status
Only unmarried male and female Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the Airforce Recruitment 2025.
Agniveer Airforce Education Qualification
Science Subjects: Candidates must have passed 10+2/Intermediate or an equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics, and English from a COBSE-recognized board, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR
Candidates possessing a three-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation, or IT) from a government-recognized polytechnic institute, with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English, are also eligible. OR
Candidates who have completed a two-year vocational course including non-vocational subjects like Physics and Maths from a state board/council (COBSE-listed) with 50% aggregate and 50% in English are eligible.
Other Than Science Subjects: Applicants must have passed 10+2/Intermediate or equivalent from a COBSE-listed board in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English. OR
Candidates who have passed a two-year vocational course from a COBSE-recognized board with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English (or in their matriculation if English was not a subject in the vocational course) are eligible.
Airforce Agniveer Age Limit
1. To be eligible, candidates must have been born between 2nd January 2004 and 2nd July 2007, inclusive of both dates.
2. Upon clearing all selection stages, the upper age limit at the date of enrollment must not exceed 23 years.
Agniveer Vayu Physical Standard Test
The recruitment authority has established strict physical standards for all applicants. Candidates will undergo a Physical Standard Test (PST) covering height, weight, chest measurements, hearing, and dental health. Failure to meet these physical benchmarks will result in disqualification.
- Height- For Male candidates, the minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cm. For Female candidates, the minimum acceptable height is 152 cm. For candidates belonging to the east or hilly regions of Uttarakhand, a lower minimum height of 147 cm will be accepted. In the case of candidates from Lakshadweep, the minimum height will be 150 cm.
- Weight- Candidates' weight should be proportionate to height and age.
- Chest- Minimum chest circumference should be 77 cm and the chest expansion should be atleast 05 cm (For Male candidates).
- Hearing- The candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters by each ear separately.
- Dental- Candidates should have healthy gums, a good set of teeth, and a minimum of 14 dental points.
Airforce Agniveer Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
The selection process for the Agniveer Airforce Recruitment 2025 consists of the following phases:

- CASB (Central Airmen Selection Board) Test
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
