Agniveers receive an attractive, customized monthly package supplemented by Risk and Hardship allowances as applicable across the three services. Upon completing their 4-year service tenure, Agniveers are entitled to a one-time 'Seva Nidhi' package of Rs 11.71 Lakh. This amount includes their personal contributions and the matching Government contribution, along with accrued interest. The annual salary for an Agniveer starts at approximately Rs. 4.76 lakh in the first year, increasing to Rs. 6.92 lakh by the final year. Agniveer Salary for 1st Year

The initial monthly salary package for Agniveers in the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, and Indian Navy is Rs. 30,000. Of this amount, Rs. 9,000 is deducted as a mandatory contribution to the Agniveer Corpus Fund (Seva Nidhi Package). Please note that these soldiers are not entitled to gratuity payments.

Agniveer Salary for 2nd Year

In the second year of service, the monthly salary package for Agniveers across the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, and Indian Navy is set at Rs. 33,000, with a deduction of Rs. 9,900 toward the Seva Nidhi Package.

Agniveer Salary Benefits

1. Candidate will be covered under Rs. 48 Lakh non-contributory Life Insurance Cover during service.
2. Rs. 11.71 Lakh as Seva Nidhi package after exit from service (no income tax deducted).
3. 25% of Agniveers will be enrolled in regular cadre of service.

Agniveer Seva Nidhi

After completing the 4-year tenure in the Indian Armed Forces, Agniveers receive a Seva Nidhi package of approximately Rs 11.71 lakh, which includes accumulated interest. Each month, 30% of the emoluments are contributed by the individual, matched equally by the Government. The government will provide options for receiving this fund, including financial assistance for self-employment or entrepreneurship loans, with further details to be issued by the Government of India.

Agniveer Life Insurance Cover

Agniveers are provided with a free insurance cover of Rs 48 lakh for the duration of their service, as outlined in the Agneepath Scheme.

Agniveer Death/Disability Compensation

This includes a non-contributory life insurance cover of Rs 48 lakhs and an additional ex-gratia payment of Rs. 44 lakhs for deaths attributable to military service. The unreserved portion of the salary for up to 4 years, including the Seva Nidhi component, is also accounted for in the event of disability or functional incapacity.
