Indian Army Agniveer Medical Standards
(a) Candidates must possess a robust physique and sound mental health.
(b) A minimum chest expansion of 5 cm is mandatory.
(c) Candidates must have normal hearing and good binocular vision. Distant vision must be 6/6 in both eyes, and color vision should meet CP-III standards.
(d) A sufficient number of natural, healthy teeth (minimum 14 dental points) is required.
(e) Candidates must be free from physical deformities such as bone issues, hydrocele, varicocele, or piles.
(f) Candidates must have the ability to correctly identify red and green colors.
Indian Army Agniveer Salary
Agniveers are entitled to an initial financial package of Rs. 4.75 lakh per year, which increases to approximately Rs. 6.92 lakh by the fourth year. Additionally, personnel receive allowances covering risk, hardship, clothing, rations, and travel.
Seva Nidhi: This exit package totals approximately Rs 11.71 lakh, including interest accrued on contributions. Both the individual and the Government contribute 30% of the monthly emoluments toward this fund.
Death Compensation: A non-contributory life insurance cover of Rs 48 lakh is provided, supplemented by an additional Rs 44 lakh ex-gratia payment for deaths attributable to service.
