Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must fulfill specific nationality, educational, age, and family norms before submitting applications:
- Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India.
- Educational Qualification: Passing a Graduation or its equivalent examination from a recognised university is mandatory.
- Age Limit: As on 10/11/2025, the minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 25 years for general category candidates.
- Age Relaxation: Up to 5 years relaxation is provided for OBC, SC, and ST categories as per State Government rules.
- Gender Eligibility: Both men and women can apply for Subedar and SI (GD-Other than SAF), whereas only male candidates are eligible for SI (GD-SAF).
- Certificate Timeline: Candidates must have all required certificates available by 10th November 2025.
- Family Criteria: Candidates having more than two living children, any one of whom was born after January 26, 2001, are not eligible for appointment.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The selection procedure comprises preliminary and mains written examinations, followed by the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standards Test (PST). Note that marks from the preliminary exam are not included in the final merit calculation.
