NIACL AO Recruitment 2026

Thousands of aspirants compete annually for the prestigious NIACL Administrative Officer role. NIACL AO 2026 Eligibility

Candidates must fulfill specific educational qualifications and age requirements to be eligible for the Generalist Administrative Officer post at New India Assurance. Below, we have outlined the eligibility criteria for the NIACL AO 2026 exam.

Nationality 

To be eligible, a candidate must be:

(a) a citizen of India, or

(b) a subject of Nepal, or

(c) a subject of Bhutan, or

(d) a Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement, or

(e) a person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam to permanently settle in India, provided they hold a certificate of eligibility issued by the Govt. of India.

NIACL AO 2026 Exam Pattern

The selection includes two online exams: Phase-1 (Objective only) and Phase-2 (Objective and Descriptive).

1. The NIACL Phase 1 exam tests Reasoning, English Language, and Quantitative Aptitude.

2. Each section has a specific sectional time limit of 20 minutes.

3. The paper consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying 1 mark.

4. There is a negative marking of 1/4th mark for every incorrect answer.
