OSSSC Excise Constable Selection Process 2026

The selection process for the Excise Constable role comprises three primary stages:

• Written Exam: The written exam will be conducted for 180 marks.
• Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Measurement Test: In this stage, candidates’ physical fitness will be checked
• Document Verification: In this stage, all the original documents will be verified.

OSSSC Excise Constable Exam Pattern 2026

The written examination consists of 100 objective-type questions based on the 10th-grade (HSC) curriculum. Candidates are allotted 90 minutes to complete the paper. Each correct answer carries 1 mark, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect response.

OSSSC Excise Constable Physical Test 2026

Candidates qualifying the written test (up to three times the number of vacancies) will be invited to participate in the physical assessment, which includes the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

OSSSC Excise Constable Salary 2026

Successful candidates appointed as Excise Constables will receive a monthly salary in the pay scale of Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200. Furthermore, employees are entitled to additional government-mandated allowances and professional benefits.
