RRB ALP CBT 1 Result 2026 Out: Download Zone-wise Merit List & Results PDF

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the RRB ALP Result 2026 for the CBT 1 examination, alongside the corresponding category-wise cut-off marks. These results are available in PDF format on official regional portals. Candidates who appeared for the exam on February 13, 16, 17, 18, and March 11, 2026, can now download their regional merit list to confirm their eligibility for the CBT 2 stage.

RRB ALP Result 2026 Out

The CBT 1 results for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) post are now live. Shortlisted candidates, selected based on the 10,970 available vacancies, are eligible to advance to the 2nd Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT 2). Under CEN No. 01/2025, the CBT 2 examination is scheduled to commence anytime after July 12, 2026.

The RRB has published the merit list for the CBT 1 exam, successfully shortlisting 158,705 candidates for the next phase. Please note that the results for the Muzaffarpur region are currently pending.

How to check the RRB ALP Result 2026 from the official website?

Candidates can view their individual CBT 1 exam results for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) recruitment directly through their respective regional RRB portals.

1. Visit your Railway Recruitment Board regional website from which you have applied.
2. Now click on the Results link >> CEN – 01/2025 Result of 1st Stage CBT FOR Assistant Loco Pilots.
3. The result PDF will appear on your screen. Download it and save the PDF.
4. The result PDF carries the names and roll numbers of qualified candidates.
5. Use the shortcut key “Ctrl+F” and enter your name/roll no.
6. If you have qualified for RRB ALP Stage II, your name and roll no. will be highlighted.

What happens after the RRB ALP CBT 1 result release?

Upon checking the RRB ALP Result 2026, candidates can determine their qualifying status. Those who successfully cleared CBT 1 are eligible for the CBT 2 examination. The second stage consists of two distinct segments: Part A and Part B, both conducted in a computer-based format.

RRB ALP CBT 2 Exam Pattern

Qualified candidates must prepare for the upcoming RRB ALP CBT 2 stage, which is structured into two parts:

Part A: Subject-specific and General Knowledge Assessment

• Duration: 90 minutes
• Questions: 100 multiple-choice questions
• Syllabus:
  • Mathematics
  • General Intelligence & Reasoning
  • Basic Science and Engineering
  • General Awareness
  • Current Affairs

Part B: Relevant Trade Subject Assessment

• Duration: 60 minutes
• Questions: 75 multiple-choice questions
• Syllabus: Relevant trade-based questions as per the candidate’s qualification and choice.
• Note: Qualifying in Part B is mandatory and requires a minimum of 35% marks.

The RRB ALP selection process comprises five distinct stages: CBT 1 and CBT 2, followed by a Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), Document Verification (DV), and a final Medical Examination (ME).
