RRB ALP CBT 2 Exam Date 2025 Revised: Check New Schedule and Admit Card Details

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially updated the RRB ALP CBT 2 Exam Date 2025 following the previous postponement. As per the official announcement, the RRB ALP CBT 2 exam is now scheduled for May 2nd and May 6th, 2025. This examination is intended for candidates who could not complete their papers during the initial session on March 19th and 20th, 2025. New admit cards will be issued by April 28th, 2025, following the release of exam city details on April 22nd, 2025.

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) previously announced 18,799 vacancies for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) positions, moving forward after the successful completion of the RRB ALP CBT 1 stage. Candidates shortlisted from the CBT 1 results are required to appear for the CBT 2 stage on the newly announced dates of May 2nd and May 6th, 2025. The reporting time for candidates is 7:30 AM for the 1st shift and 12:30 PM for the 2nd shift.

The RRB has officially confirmed the exam dates for the second stage of the Computer Based Test (CBT-II) for Assistant Loco Pilot posts (CEN No. 01/2024). Please refer to the attached official notice below for complete details regarding the revised RRB ALP CBT 2 exam schedule.

RRB ALP CBT 2 Exam City & Admit Card 2025

According to the official notification, city intimation slips are available 10 days prior to the examination. Exam city details for the May 2nd session were released on April 22nd, 2025, while details for the May 6th session were released on April 28th, 2025. Admit cards for these exams will be available for download 4 days before the scheduled exam date.

The RRB ALP 2025 CBT 2 stage is mandatory for all candidates who qualified in the CBT 1 round. The CBT 2 structure includes two papers: Paper 1 (100 MCQs covering Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Basic Science, Engineering, and General Awareness/Current Affairs) and Paper 2 (75 questions related to the relevant trade). The total duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes, with a negative marking of 1/3rd mark for every incorrect answer.
