RRB Paramedical 2026 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2026, candidates must strictly adhere to the minimum educational qualification and age requirements specified by the board.

Educational Qualification

Candidates are required to possess the specific Educational, Technical, or Professional certifications mandated for their chosen post, issued by a recognized Board, University, or accredited institution.

Nursing Superintendent	Candidates must have passed 3 years course in General Nursing and Midwifery from a school of Nursing or other institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council OR B.Sc Nursing and Certificate as Registered Nurse and Midwife
Dialysis Technician	Candidates must have passed B.Sc., plus (a) Diploma in Haemodialysis or (b) two years satisfactory in-house Training / Experience in Haemodialysis work in a reputed institution (proof to be attached)
Health & Malaria Inspector Grade III	B.Sc. having studied Chemistry as Main / Optional subject in any branch of Chemistry while undertaking thecourse. Plus (a) One year Diploma of Health / Sanitary Inspector OR (b) One year National Trade Certificate(NTC) in Health Sanitary Inspector awarded by National Council for Vocational Training, Ministry of Labourand Employment, Government of India, New Delhi.
Pharmacist (Entry Grade)	10+2 in Science or its equivalent, with Diploma in Pharmacy from recognized institution and registered asPharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 (OR) Bachelor degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharma)
Radiographer X-ray Technician	10+2 with Physics and Chemistry and Diploma in Radiography / X Ray Technician / Radio diagnosisTechnology (2 years course) from recognized Institute. Science graduates with Diploma in Radiography / XRay Technician / Radio diagnosis Technology (2 years course) shall be preferred.
ECG Technician	10+2 / Graduation in Science having Certificate/Diploma/Degree in ECG Laboratory Technology / Cardiology/ Cardiology Technician / Cardiology Techniques of a reputed institution
LAB Assistant Grade II	12th (10+2 stage) in Science plus (a) Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) (OR) (b) CertificateCourse in Medical Lab. Technology at par with Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)

Age Limit

The age eligibility for the RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2026 requires candidates to be between 18 and 35 years of age as of the specified cut-off date.

RRB Paramedical 2026 Application Fee

Candidates must submit the requisite application fee for the RRB Paramedical 2026 recruitment. Flexible payment options are provided, including online methods like Internet banking, credit/debit cards, and UPI, or offline options through SBI Bank Challan or computerized Post Office Challan services.

The RRB Paramedical CBT includes a negative marking policy where 0.25 marks are deducted for every incorrect response. Unanswered questions do not incur any penalties.

Normalisation of Marks

Shortlisting for Document Verification (DV) is determined by performance in the CBT. If the exam is conducted across multiple sessions, marks will undergo a normalization process to ensure fairness, and the final shortlisting will be based on these normalized scores.
