SIDBI Grade A & B Vacancy 2026

Steps to Apply Online for SIDBI Grade A & B Recruitment 2026

To successfully enroll for the SIDBI Recruitment 2026, candidates must submit their application online through the official portal. Follow the comprehensive instructions provided below to complete your registration for the SIDBI Grade A Recruitment. 

Step-I Visit the official website of the Small Industries Development Bank of India at www.sidbi.in

Step-II Navigate to the homepage and click on the “Careers” tab to view a list of all active recruitment notifications.

Step-III Select the link titled “Application for Assistant Manager ‘Grade-A’ in General Stream”.

Step-IV Click on the recruitment advertisement stating “SIDBI invites Applications for Recruitment of Officers in Grade ‘A’– General Stream and Grade ‘B’- General and Specialist Stream” and proceed by selecting the “Click here to apply online” option.

Step-V Select the "Click here for New Registration" tab and enter your personal details, including your full name, contact number, and valid email address. 

Step-VI Once submitted, the system will generate and display a unique Provisional Registration Number and Password on your screen.

Step-VII Log in using your provided credentials to fill out the remaining sections of the SIDBI Grade A and Grade B Application Form 2026.

Step VIII Upload the required documents according to the specified dimensions: Photograph (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm), signature (black ink), left thumb impression (black/blue ink on white paper), and a scanned handwritten declaration.

Step-IX Pay the applicable application fee via the online gateway and submit your completed application well before the final deadline.

  3. Bachelor’s degree in Law / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks (SC / ST / PwBD applicants - 55%) in aggregate from Universities / Institutions recognized by the GoI / UGC / AICTE.
  4. MBA/ PGDM [in Any Discipline (the course must be of full-time 2 years)] / from a University/ Institution recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC) / Govt. of India/ approved by Govt. regulatory bodies.

Candidates must possess at least two years of experience in credit dispensation within the MSME, corporate sector, or lending to small commercial enterprises.

At least two years of core functioning experience in any of the following areas:

  • Entities dealing in Investment Banking / Merchant Banking registered with SEBI
  • Entities dealing in Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) registered with SEBI
  • Asset Reconstruction Companies (ARCs) registered with the RBI
  • Subsidiary of Scheduled Commercial Banks dealing in the MSME segment
  • Project management (viz. administration and implementation of projects/ Schemes of national importance) with consultancy firms of national stature having experience of consulting & project management in a similar line for more than 10 years, and should have specific experience of consulting/ Project management, Government project implementation / Govt. Project management / Digital project related to lending / Consultancy for the Govt. Projects.

LegalBachelor’s degree in law from any University/ Institution, recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC) / Govt. of India/ approved by Govt. regulatory bodies with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST and PwBD candidates, if vacancies are reserved for them) marks or equivalent in the aggregate of all semesters/years and enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of India.

SIDBI Age Limit

SIDBI Grade A Age Limit: Applicants must be at least 21 years old and not older than 30 years.

SIDBI Grade B Age Limit: Applicants must be at least 25 years old and not older than 33 years.

SIDBI Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

Shortlisting for Grade A and B positions is based on performance across all stages of the SIDBI Exam 2026. The recruitment process is divided into three distinct stages to ensure comprehensive candidate assessment. 

Stage 1: Phase 1 Examination (Standard assessment applicable to all streams and grades).

Stage 2: Phase 2 Examination (Specialized tests for General and Specialist streams).

Stage 3: Personal Interview 

Final selection for Assistant Manager (Grade A) and Manager (Grade B) posts is determined by candidate performance in the Phase-II Examination followed by the interview round.

SIDBI Exam Pattern 2026

While the Phase 1 examination is common for all applicants, stream-specific questions are included as per the syllabus. Please note that a penalty of 0.25 marks applies to every incorrect answer in the exam.

SIDBI Recruitment 2026 Salary 

The base salary for a SIDBI Grade A Assistant Manager is Rs. 44,500, with a pay scale ranging up to Rs. 89,150. The total monthly compensation for a SIDBI Grade A Officer is approximately Rs. 1,00,000, which includes dearness allowance, house rent allowance, and other standard banking perks.

The base salary for a SIDBI Grade B Manager is Rs. 55,200, with a comprehensive pay scale reaching up to Rs. 99,750. The total monthly in-hand salary for a SIDBI Grade B Officer is approximately Rs. 1,15,000, inclusive of all allowances and benefits.

SIDBI 2026 Admit Card

Admit cards for the SIDBI Grade A and Grade B examinations will be issued to all eligible candidates; carrying this document is mandatory for entry into the exam hall. SIDBI will host the admit card on their website (sidbi.in) roughly 10 to 15 days before the scheduled exam date. No hard copies will be dispatched to candidates via post.
