SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern 2026

The online SSC CGL Tier-1 Exam consists of 4 distinct sections containing a total of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), carrying a maximum of 200 marks. Candidates must complete the test within a strict 60-minute duration. Please note that the Tier 1 exam is strictly qualifying; your score will not contribute to the final merit list.

SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Pattern 2026

The SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam 2026 is divided into two main papers: Paper I (Compulsory for all candidates) and Paper II.

  • Paper II for candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.
  • Paper-III will be for only those candidates who are shortlisted in Tier-I for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.
