Step-by-Step Application Guide

Step 1: Complete SSC OTR (One-Time Registration)

1. Visit the official SSC website, www.ssc.gov.in, and go to the Candidate Portal.
2. Click on 'Register Now' under the Login section if you're a first-time applicant.
3. Enter your basic details: name, father's name, mother's name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, and class 10 roll number.
4. Complete Aadhaar-based verification via OTP sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number, or use alternative photo ID proof.
5. Fill in category, nationality, visible identification mark, benchmark disability status, and permanent/present address.
6. Upload your photograph and signature as per SSC's specified format and size.
7. Create a password, accept the declaration, and click Final Submit.
8. Verify via OTP sent to mobile/email to complete registration and save the generated SSC Registration Number.

Step 2: Fill SSC CHSL Application Form

1. Log in to the SSC Candidate Portal using your Registration ID and Password.
2. From the dashboard, locate the SSC CHSL 2026 Notification Out for 2536 Vacancies- Click to Check and click 'Apply'.
3. Select your preferred exam centres (up to 3 choices).
4. Choose post preferences among LDC/JSA, DEO, DEO Grade 'A', Postal Assistant, and Sorting Assistant.
5. Review your OTR profile details which carry forward automatically.
6. Pay the application fee (if applicable) via the available online payment modes.
7. Review the complete form carefully, then submit.
8. Download and save the acknowledgement/confirmation page.
