SSC CPO 2025 Physical Exam Dates Released: Official Schedule for Male & Female Candidates

Following the official notification published on July 7, 2026, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has confirmed the timeline for the SSC CPO 2025 recruitment physical tests. The Physical Efficiency and Standard Tests for female candidates are set for July 21, 2026, whereas male candidates are scheduled to appear between July 22 and July 25, 2026.

A total of 48,615 candidates who successfully cleared the Computer-Based Test (CBT) are now eligible for the second stage of the selection process. This phase consists of the Physical Endurance Test (PET) and the Physical Standard Test (PST). Testing will be held at Commandant 59 Bn (BSF), BSF Campus Seemanagar, PO- Seemanagar, Krishnanagar, Nadia, West Bengal (PIN-741166), with a mandatory reporting time of 6:00 AM.

SSC CPO Physical Endurance Test

The SSC CPO physical efficiency test evaluates a candidate's stamina, physical strength, and endurance through various performance-based activities, including long jump, high jump, shot put, and distance running.

Physical Standards for Male Candidates

• 100 metre race in 16 seconds
• 1.6 Kms race in 6.5 minutes
• Long Jump – 3.65 metres in 3 chances
• High Jump – 1.2 metres in 3 chances
• Shot put (16 Lbs) – 4.5 metres in 3 chances

Physical Standards for Female Candidates

• 100 metre race in 18 seconds
• 800 metre race in 4 minutes
• Long Jump – 2.7 metres in 3 chances
• High Jump – 0.9 metre in 3 chances

Preparation Tips Before the SSC CPO Physical Test

• Start training now, not later. Build your running stamina with regular practice
• Track your numbers. Use a stopwatch for runs and a measuring tape for jumps during practice
• Don’t neglect jump events. Many candidates focus only on running and end up failing long jump or high jump instead.
• Watch your weight-height ratio. Since disproportionate weight can cause issues even after PET is physically cleared, maintain a fitness routine rather than a crash diet.
• Carry all original documents: admit card, valid photo ID, and category/PWD certificates as applicable, since incomplete documentation can lead to rejection at the gate regardless of fitness.
