What is SSC GD Selection Process?

Securing a position as a constable requires candidates to successfully clear all phases of the selection process. The recruitment stages are outlined below:

1. Written Exam (CBT): The written exam will be conducted online, i.e., a CBT Exam and will consist of 80 multiple-choice questions for a total of 160 marks. The duration of the exam will be 60 minutes.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).
3. Medical Test- The last stage of the selection process, which is mandatory to check whether the selected candidates are medically fit or not. After the medical test, the candidates shortlisted will have to appear for document verification.
