UBI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Eligibility

Before preparing for the exam, ensure you meet the minimum eligibility requirements. Below, you will find a breakdown of the necessary educational qualifications and age criteria for these Apprentice roles.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a university or institution recognized by the Government of India, UGC, or AICTE.

• Result must be declared on or before 01 April 2026.
• Graduation should not be more than 4 years old — i.e., the degree marksheet date should not be earlier than 01 April 2022.
• Candidates must produce original mark sheets and provisional/degree certificates when asked by the Bank.
• For percentage calculation, 59.99% is rounded up to 60%.

Age Limit (as on 01/04/2026)

To be eligible for the application, candidates must fall within the age range of 20 to 28 years.

Local Language Proficiency

Proficiency (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in the local language of the state of application is mandatory. For example, candidates applying for posts in Tamil Nadu must be proficient in Tamil, while those in Karnataka must be proficient in Kannada.
