With approximately 20 lakh candidates expected to participate in the UPTET 2026 exam, scheduled for 2nd to 4th July 2026, it is essential to carry a printed copy of your hall ticket for entry into the examination hall. UPTET Exam Schedule & Timing 2026

The UPTET 2026 exam will be held in two daily shifts. Shift 1 begins at 9:30 AM, while Shift 2 commences at 2:30 PM. Please consult the schedule below for precise timing details.

UPTET Admit Card Download Link

The Primary Level exam will be held during the morning session (9:30 AM to 12:00 PM), and the Upper Primary level exam will take place in the afternoon (2:30 PM to 5:00 PM). Step 1 – Visit the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission: https://www.upessc.up.gov.in/.

Step 2 – Navigate to the 'Candidate Services' section and select the U.P. Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) link.

Step 3 – Click on the dedicated UPTET Admit Card download link.

Step 4 – Log in using your Registration ID and the OTP generated during your final registration.

Step 5 – Enter the captcha code displayed on your screen to proceed.

Step 5 – Click the 'Login' button to submit your details.

Step 6 – Your UPTET Admit Card will be displayed; download and print it.

UPTET Exam Pattern

The UPTET exam comprises Paper I (Classes 1–5) and Paper II (Classes 6–8). Core subjects include Child Development, Language I & II, and Mathematics. 1. A recent passport-size photograph (identical to the one used in your application).

2. PwD certificate (if applicable).

3. A valid original photo ID (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License).
