• In order to be eligible for the CUET Entrance test, the candidates are required to have an Indian citizenship.
• There is no age limit for the CUET 2026 Entrance exam.

• Candidates who have passed the class 12 /equivalent examination or are appearing in 2026, irrespective of their age, can appear in the CUET (UG) - 2026 examination. However, the candidates will be required to fulfill the age criteria (if any) of the University / Institution / Organization in which they are desirous of taking admission.
• The student must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in class 12th for General category candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates.

The NTA conducts the CUET in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, and several regional languages. 1. CUET 2026 will be conducted in Online Computer-based Test mode this year.

2. The CUET (UG) 2026 exam comprises four distinct sections:

➢ Section IA – 13 Languages

➢ Section IB – 20 Languages

➢ Section II – 27 Domain-specific Subjects

➢ Section III – General Test

3. The paper follows an MCQ format, totaling 175 questions, of which 140 must be attempted.

4. Candidates may choose a maximum of three languages combined from Section IA and IB.

5. From Section II, candidates can select a maximum of six domain-specific subjects.
