JKSSB Pharmacist & Draftsman Eligibility Criteria 2026

JKSSB has specified eligibility criteria for both Pharmacist and Draftsman posts regarding age and educational background. Applicants for the Draftsman role require a relevant training certificate, while Veterinary Pharmacist and Assistant Compiler candidates must meet graduate and higher secondary qualifications, respectively.

The selection process for JKSSB Pharmacist and Draftsman posts is multi-staged, consisting of a competitive written examination, document verification, and a medical assessment.

1. Written Examination: This is the first stage of recruitment, which is conducted in an OMR-based format. The final merit depends on the performance of candidates in this round.
2. Document Verification: In this stage, candidates have to show the original documents. Along with this, they also have to bring a self-attested Photostat copy of each document and the online application form. They must show that their educational certificate has been issued on or before the cut-off date, which is 1st January 2026.
3. Medical Examination: All shortlisted candidates have to undergo a medical exam before the final appointment letter is issued.

Successful candidates will receive a salary as per the 7th Pay Commission, specifically under Level 4 of the Pay Matrix for Veterinary Pharmacist, Assistant Compiler, and Draftsman (Civil) roles.

Note: Selected employees will be eligible for standard allowances such as DA, TA, and HRA in accordance with J&K Government regulations.
