RPF SI Physical Test 2025: Dates, PET/PMT Requirements & Admit Card

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) officially announced the dates for the RPF SI Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and Document Verification (DV) for Sub-Inspector (Executive) positions (CEN RPF 01/2024) via a notice dated June 3rd, 2025. The RPF SI PET/PMT/DV process will be held from June 22nd to July 2nd, 2025, exclusively at the Jagjivan Ram RPF Academy in Lucknow, UP. With 4,725 candidates successfully qualifying for the RPF SI CBT, they are now eligible for the next stage. Candidates must report at the designated exam center by 4:00 AM. RPF Sub-Inspector Physical Test 2025

The RPF SI Physical Test is designed to evaluate whether candidates possess the physical fitness necessary to perform the duties of a Sub-Inspector. The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) assesses stamina and agility through running, long jump, and high jump events, while the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) verifies that candidates meet the mandatory health standards regarding height, chest, and weight.

RPF SI PMT (Physical Measurement Test)

The RPF SI Physical Standard Test (PST) is a critical evaluation phase to ensure candidates meet the required physical benchmarks. Standards for height, chest, and weight vary between male and female candidates. Failure to meet these specified physical measurements will result in immediate disqualification from the subsequent stages of the recruitment process.

RPF SI PET (Physical Efficiency Test)

During the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), candidates must complete specific athletic challenges within strictly defined time limits. For the running event, candidates are allowed only one attempt. However, for technical events like the Long Jump and High Jump, candidates are granted up to two attempts to qualify.

RPF SI PET for Male Candidates

To qualify, male candidates are required to complete a 1,600-meter race within a maximum time frame of 6 minutes and 30 seconds.

The RPF SI Physical Efficiency Test requirements for female candidates include specific benchmarks for running, long jump, and high jump performance.

RPF SI Physical Dates 2025 Out

The RPF SI physical and document verification schedule runs from June 22nd to July 2nd, 2025. Admit cards were made available for download starting June 7th, 2025. The evaluation process is split into two distinct stages: the Physical Endurance Test (PET) and the Physical Standard Test (PST), both of which are mandatory to assess the physical fitness and readiness of all shortlisted individuals.

All shortlisted candidates must participate in the PST and PET rounds and are encouraged to begin their physical training immediately to ensure they are prepared for the testing standards. Successful completion of the PET/PMT phase is immediately followed by document verification on the same day.

The RPF SI recruitment drive aims to fill 450 Sub-Inspector vacancies. The selection process comprises a Computer-Based Test (CBT), followed by the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and Document Verification. While the CBT stage is complete, the PET and PST serve as mandatory qualifying rounds. No additional marks are awarded for PET, and while Ex-servicemen are exempted from the physical efficiency trials, they are still required to clear the physical measurement standards.
