The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially declared the UGC NET December 2025 examination results and released the scorecards on February 4, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the exam across the country can now access their results to determine their eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor roles.

Exam Statistics and Performance

A significant number of aspirants participated in this cycle. A total of 9,93,702 candidates registered, out of which 7,35,614 actually appeared for the test. The gender-wise breakdown shows 5,85,400 (58.91%) female, 4,08,245 (41.08%) male, and 57 (0.01%) third-gender candidates.

Out of the total participants, 1,76,879 candidates qualified for various positions: 1,17,058 qualified for PhD admission only, 54,713 qualified for Assistant Professor & PhD admission, and 5,108 candidates achieved the milestone for JRF & Assistant Professor.

  2. Locate and click the notification link titled “Results for UGC NET Dec- 2025 Live”.
  3. Select the Examination name and provide your Application Number and Date of Birth.
  4. Enter the security pin displayed on the screen exactly as it appears.
  5. Click the “Submit” button to proceed.
  6. Your result will be displayed on the screen.
