JK Constable Physical Test 2026
The Physical Standard Test (PST) and measurement requirements for Constables are outlined as follows:
Physical Standards
a) Requirements for Male Candidates:
- Height: Minimum 5 feet 6 inches
- Chest (Unexpanded): Minimum 32 inches
- Chest (Expanded): Minimum 33.5 inches
b) Requirements for Female Candidates:
- Height: Minimum 5 feet 2 inches
Physical Endurance Test (PET)
Only candidates who successfully pass the PST will be permitted to proceed to the Physical Endurance Test (PET).
PET Guidelines for Male Candidates:
- Long Race: 1600 meters in 6 minutes 30 seconds
- Push-ups: 20 (1 full cycle = up and down)
PET Guidelines for Female Candidates:
- Long Race: 1000 meters in 6 minutes 30 seconds
- Shot Put (4 kg): Minimum distance of 14.5 feet in 3 attempts
