Steps to Apply Online for RRB Group D 2026

Prior to submitting your RRB Group D application, ensure you meet all mandatory eligibility benchmarks, including age requirements, educational qualifications, and medical standards. The Railway Recruitment Board has standardized the 2026 selection process; please follow the step-by-step guide provided below to successfully complete your registration.

Step 1- Registration 

1. Navigate to the official website of the Railway Recruitment Board and select the RRB region corresponding to your state or area.
2. Search and click on the link titled "CEN-09/2025 Group D (Level-1) Recruitment.
3. Now begin with the registration process by providing essential details such as your name, date of birth, email address, and mobile number.
4. Upon successful registration, you will receive a unique registration ID and password via email or SMS.

Step 2- Application Form Filling

1. Using your registration ID and password log in to the railway application portal.
2. Fill in the required personal, educational, and contact information correctly.
3. Ensure all details are correct to avoid discrepancies during the selection process.

Step 3- Upload Documents

1. Prepare scanned copies of photographs, and signature, educational certificate and category certificate as per the specified format and size and Upload each document in the designated sections of the application form.

Step 4- Submit Application Fee

All applicants for Railway Group D (Level 1) positions must pay the mandatory application fee to finalize their candidacy. Payments are accepted via digital modes, including internet banking, credit/debit cards, and UPI.

Note: For general candidates, Rs 400 of the Rs 500 application fee will be refunded upon appearing for the Computer Based Test (CBT).
For candidates from SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Transgender, Minorities, or Economically Backward Class (EBC) categories, the full application fee of Rs 250 will be refunded after appearing for the exam.

After processing your payment, please save your transaction reference number and print a copy of the payment receipt for your records.

Step 5- Review and Submit RRB Group D Online Form

1. Thoroughly review all entered information and uploaded documents to ensure accuracy.
2. Once confirmed, submit the RRB Group D Online Form before the last date, i.e. 20th February 2026 (11:59 pm).
3. After submission, a confirmation page will be generated. Download and print the confirmation page for your records.
