Punjab PSTET Question Paper 2026

The Punjab PSTET Paper 1 consists of five core subjects: Child Development and Pedagogy, Environmental Studies, Mathematics, Language I, and Language II. The exam featured 150 objective-type questions in total, with 30 marks allocated to each section. Candidates were provided with a duration of 150 minutes (2 hours and 30 minutes) to complete the paper.

PSTET Question Paper 2026 Structure

The PSTET exam is divided into two parts: Paper I, designed for candidates aspiring to teach classes I to V (Primary Teacher), and Paper II, designed for candidates aiming to teach classes VI to VIII (Trained Graduate Teacher/TGT).

PSTET Paper 1 Structure

The PSTET Paper 1 curriculum covers five essential subjects: Child Development and Pedagogy, Environmental Studies, Mathematics, Language I, and Language II, testing basic pedagogical and subject-specific knowledge.

• There were a total of 150 questions asked in the PSTET Paper 1 Question Paper 2026. The 30 questions of 30 marks were from each subject.
• The duration of the PSTET Paper 1 exam is 2 hr 30 mins (150 minutes).
• One mark is awarded for each correct answer.
• No mark is deducted for wrong answers.

PSTET Paper 2 Structure

PSTET Paper 2 is mandatory for candidates seeking to teach secondary-level classes from 6th to 8th. The PSTET Paper 2 Question Paper 2026 focuses on four primary subjects tailored to subject-specific expertise required for upper primary teaching.

• A total of 150 questions will be asked in the PSTET Paper 2 Question Paper.
• Each question carries one mark.
• The PSTET Paper 2 exam duration is 2 hr 30 mins (150 minutes).
